Welcome

Welcome back to another exciting Term at Arndell! It has been a very busy start to the Term and we look forward to continuing the momentum as we delve deeper into our academic pursuits, extracurricular activities, and community engagements.

College Carnivals

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the students who participated in the College Cross Country Carnivals and the Secondary School Athletics Carnival. The dedication, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm displayed by our students were truly remarkable. These events not only foster a sense of healthy competition but also bring our community closer together. It is announced with delight that thanks to the hard work and commitment of both our students and staff, our Carnivals were a great success. The Cross Country fundraiser events were particularly noteworthy, with the student community raising more than $1,000 to donate to our Junior School Charity, Camp Quality.

We look forward to the Junior School Athletics Carnival scheduled for next Wednesday 15 May, 2024.

2024 College Musical

We're thrilled to announce that the Secondary School College Musical "Back to the 80's" will be showcased on Thursday June 20, Friday June 21, and Saturday June 22.

Rehearsals are well under way, and the students are looking forward to showcasing their talents on stage. The atmosphere in the Auditorium is electric, as performers pour their hearts and souls into perfecting their roles and musical numbers. From the intricate choreography to the powerful vocals, it's evident that this year's production will be nothing short of spectacular.

Tickets will be released shortly and we encourage all our community members to support the students by coming along.

College Rugby Tour

The Crusaders kicked off their season last week with the first round of the North West Schools Rugby Competition, showcasing their determination and skill against Penrith Anglican College. As the season progresses, excitement builds for the upcoming South Coast Rugby Tour in Nowra during Week 5. This tour promises to be a thrilling opportunity for all College Rugby teams, both boys and girls, to demonstrate their prowess on the field and bond as a team.

Secondary School Exams

Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 students are rapidly approaching their first formal exams for the year in Week 4. The College Curriculum Administrator has provided the students with details including exam timetables and the process to take should they be absent for an exam.

While this time may bring with it a sense of anticipation and perhaps even a hint of apprehension, we want to reassure our students that they are well-prepared to excel. Our dedicated teachers have been working tirelessly to ensure that our students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to succeed. We encourage our students to approach this period with determination, focus, and a positive mindset.

Secondary School Parent - Teacher Interviews & Information Evenings

All parents/carers are urged to actively participate in upcoming parent-teacher interviews and information evenings. These valuable opportunities provide a chance to engage with teachers, discuss your child's progress, and gain insight into their academic journey. Details of the evenings will be emailed to parents/carers.

Additionally, for parents/carers of Year 10 students, the upcoming Subject Selection Information evening for transitioning into Year 11 is a crucial event where you can learn about available subjects and make informed decisions alongside your child. This evening is scheduled for Tuesday June 4 at 7:00pm.

2025 Enrolments

There's been a consistent increase in demand for enrolment across several Year Groups at the College in 2025 prompting the initiation of a waitlist for prospective students seeking admission.

Should you or someone you know be interested in enrolling a child at the College, we encourage you to reach out to our Enrolments Manager at 4572 3633 or complete the Online Application Form accessible on the College website at https://www.arndell.nsw.edu.au/enrolments/how-to-enrol/

We look forward to welcoming new members into our community over the coming years.

College Values

At Arndell we place a high value on Community, Growth, Respect and Service all of which are underpinned by our open Christian Faith. These values serve as the foundation of our College and guide us in our interactions with one another. Over the coming Term I would like to encourage you to continue to discuss with your children the importance of these values to the creation of a safe and supportive environment where all learners thrive.

God Bless,

Mr Austin Robertson
